Libranox CAP 30

Libranox CAP (Cocamidopropylamine oxide) is an excellent co-surfactant for mild, low irritancy applications such as shampoo and bubble bath products. It is compatible with most surfactants as it provides viscosity control, foam boosting and excellent grease cutting in liquid dish wash formulations. It also works as a conditioning agent and a surfactant. It also can boost the water solubility of other cleansing agents contained within a formulation. Its conditioning properties help improve the appearance of dry and damaged hair in personal care formulations. In textiles it can be used as an antistatic agent.

Libranox CAP exhibits synergistic effects when combined with anionic and other non-ionic surfactants.

Amine Oxide

An amine oxide is a chemical compound that contains the functional group R3N+-O-. An amine oxide acts as a non-iconic surfactant in neutral and alkaline pH and cationic in acidic conditions and is compatible with most other surfactants.

Why Choose Libranox CAP at Libra Speciality Chemicals?

The Libranox Amine Oxide range has low residual hydrogen peroxide content, less than 800ppm, whilst the industry norm is 1500ppm. The finished product has a crystal clear ‘water white’ appearance, ensuring no need for additional colourant in the finished formulation.

Libra Speciality Chemical’s tightly controlled manufacturing process ensures that Libranox products are microbiologically pure, free from bacteria and other contaminants.
