Librasan hand sanitiser gel is formulated to effectively cleanse hands and kill 99.99% of bacteria as well as many types of viruses that may be lingering on the surface of the skin, including Covid-19.
Libra offers 2 variants in our product range, each containing 70% alcohol for effective sanitisation. This concentration will kill many types of virus by dissolving their fat membranes and destroying the protein envelope that surrounds some viruses, including coronavirus. It also kills 99.99% of bacteria.
Librasan 70B
Librasan 70B is our standard hand sanitiser formulation, containing 70% v/v ethanol. It has been thoroughly tested against the BS EN 1276:2019, BS EN 1500:2013 and BS EN 14476 standards for antimicrobial and antiviral efficacy for Hand Rub Products. This formula meets the 5 decimal logarithm reduction under simulated clean or dirty conditions within the relevant contact time.
Librasan 70E
Librasan 70E is our premium formulation containing 70% w/w ethanol and has also been tested against the BS EN 1276:2019 and BS EN 1500:2013 and BS EN 14476 standards for antimicrobial and antiviral efficacy for Hand Rub Products. Librasan 70E also contains glycerine and Vitamin E, is an effective moisturiser and has antioxidant properties that help to prevent skin damage and strengthen the body’s natural defences to prevent illness and infection.
Pack Formats & Other Variants
Librasan hand sanitisers can be supplied in either bulk tankers or 1,000 Litre IBC’s for easy decanting into smaller packaging.
We can also arrange for our sister company, Expac (Preston) Ltd, to pack off the sanitiser for you into 100ml – 5,000ml pack formats.
We are open to discussing manufacturing other ethanol concentrations, such as 75%, subject to cost-effective volumes.
