We are delighted to share yet another major milestone in Expac’s strategic journey.
On 30 January, 2026, We completed on the acquisition of the trade, assets, and IP of the former MPM Consumer Products company, giving Expac (Preston) Ltd a third manufacturing site in the North West of England – a strategic move that supports our ambitious growth plans.
This additional facility, incorporated into Expac Commercial Ltd, has been fully integrated into Expac, strengthening our ability to offer customers even greater capacity, flexibility, and service as we continue our mission to be the UK’s first‑choice Contract Manufacturer and Packer.
What this means for our customers and partners:
· An additional 75,000 sq ft of manufacturing space at Croft Street, Manchester
· An extra 6 blending vessels and 24 filling lines
· Over 40 million units of added annual capacity
· Another fully equipped NPD laboratory and portfolio of formulations across several personal care and household care categories
· Additional warehousing
· The superb opportunity for the former MPM’s customers to benefit from Expac’s award-winning products and technologies
· Immediate additional operational capability, adding 75 experienced members of staff to our team
· A stronger, more agile manufacturing footprint across our three sites
As with our two existing Expac sites, we already have robust investment plans for Croft Street, starting immediately.
There is plenty of work ahead as we align and integrate our teams, systems, processes, and accreditations across all sites, ensuring our future will be incredibly exciting.
